Sweet Valentines I Created for My Boys
I miss the days where I can create cutesy valentines for my boys to send in with little toys and trinkets. I am sure those items drive teachers nuts (I would know since I taught elementary art for 10 years), but it is fun picking these school valentines that are unique and fun for my boys.
Lego Valentines Meet Eye Doctor Valentines
My sister-in-law is an eye doctor and my boys LOVE Legos, so I found these adorable Lego compatible glasses on Amazon. I attached a tag I created to look like an eye doctor eye chart valentine and my son signed the back. Easy peasy and so cute!
Hope Your Valentine's Day Rocks! + Crayon Rock Valentines
I love pairing our own Art 2 the Extreme "You Rock" mini rock crayon bags with a variety of tags throughout the year. These rainbow crayon favors are perfect for teachers to give out to students after a hard test or project, great as rock climbing party favors, or a colorful valentine for kids. I came up with my own tag for my youngest, but you can find plenty of printable tags on Etsy to pair with this rock crayon set that can be purchased in bulk.

You are Just Write! Crayon Valentines for Kids
Our Valentine Crayon Stix® has been one of the "OG" Original Rainbow Crayon® Crayon Stix® styles for Valentine's Day for YEARS, but it is still my favorite and a top-selling valentine favor for kids. My boys have both used these colorful, oversized crayons in their pre-school valentines and kindergarten valentine parties and they were a huge hit. Crayons are a perfect non-candy valentine idea for classroom valentines because they are not junk and actually function as real crayons they can use in the classroom or at home. You can buy these in bulk from the Art 2 the Extreme® handmade crayon shop!
My Favorite Download Valentines You can Print!
I love adorable valentines that are bold! It is even better when I do not have to design them. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom for the direct link + the item to pair the downloadable valentines from my favorite printable Etsy shop!
DIY Classroom Valentines
1. DIY Valentine Card Kits
DIY classroom valentines are a fantastic way to let kids show off their creativity. Provide construction paper, markers, sticky foam, and other craft supplies so students can create their own valentines. Adding a personal touch makes these cards feel extra special and meaningful. Kids could also also create their own valentine box instead of a bag to put their friends class cards in. For teachers, it’s a great option to keep kids engaged and having fun.
What you’ll need:
- Pre-cut construction paper in a variety of colors
- Stickers and markers
- Glitter glue or stamps
- Heart-shaped templates or doilies
Buying valentine supplies in a bulk pack includes supplies for many students, so everyone can join in on the fun. A DIY session will leave every child with a smile, and classroom friends will treasure these sweet valentines!
